The shipping company C&C Logistic was founded in 2006, in Cluj-Napoca, the business starting with a single truck. At present, on the anniversary of its 10 years of activity, the fleet has reached over 30 cars of various tonnages, for long or medium distances, fighting to satisfy the needs of customers in excellent conditions.

PROUD OF THE FIRST OR RENAULT MAGNUM THAT WORKS EVEN TODAY WITHOUT MAJOR PROBLEMS
“My first truck was a Renault Magnum that reached over 1,200,000 km and I am still working with it, it has not had major problems so far,” says the owner and administrator of the company Ciprian Pop. He is very proud of his first truck, he has an emotional value and he does not want to sell it, instead, he would like to recondition it.
There is another Magnum over 1,000,000 km in its fleet. He is also the one who entered the history of Renault Trucks, purchasing in 2013 the last Magnum produced by the French manufacturer, with the pollution norm Euro 5 EEV and 520 hp.
RELATIONSHIP WITH SERVICE AND LOW OPERATING COSTS MATTERED THE MOST
C&C Logistic organizes transports of general and special goods, both with full truck and in group mode in most European countries. Depending on the customer’s needs, the company can provide emergency transport exclusively with deliveries in 24-48 hours and group transport with standard transit time and optimal price. The largest share is the international transport of general goods between Romania and other countries, mainly France, Italy, Germany, Belgium, Ireland, the Netherlands. The general goods are mainly of industrial character, respectively electrical and automotive components.
In order to comply with the demanding requirements of customers, the company operates mainly with its 16 trucks, of which 9 units over 16t, Euro 6 and Euro 5 always chosen depending on the type, mass and volume of goods to be transported. Thus, its varied fleet includes trucks with 20t semi-trailer with tarpaulins, trucks with 20t trailer, vans and box vans, vans with tarpaulin.
The commercial vehicles are also Renault and Master, respectively, all purchased in the last 1-2 years. In addition, for certain contracts it has established a national and international network of reliable subcontractors. “Operating costs are lower with a single brand of vehicle and most importantly, we did not encounter any major problems, and when something had to be solved, the Renault Trucks team acted promptly. The relationship with the local service in Cluj mattered a lot to me “, answers Ciprian Pop when asked about the reasons that determined him to develop his business together with Renault Trucks.
TRUST IN THE NEW GENERATION OF EURO VEHICLES 6
C&C Logistic ordered among the first models in the new Renault Trucks T High Sleeper Cab range immediately after the launch of the new 2013 range in Romania. Currently, of all Euro 6 units, the vast majority are the large cab version, the T High Sleeper Cab. The new generation of Renault Trucks vehicles attracted him with quality subassemblies and new design, the reliability of which will be demonstrated in the following years of intense operation.
The owner of the company is also satisfied with the consumption related to the type of route traveled. In principle, the driving style of the driver who operates the vehicle also matters, but the average consumption seems reasonable, somewhere between 26-27l / 100 km for a load of 21t. However, Ciprian Pop wanted to personally test the fuel consumption and obtained with a Renault Trucks T from his fleet a very good result, respectively 24l / 100 km on the Romania-Poland route, loaded with 22t of parquet.
In order to better track and manage the business, the carrier decided to install on its trucks the Renault Trucks Optifleet telematics system with Map, Check and Drive modules.

FROM TRADITION TO MODERNITY IN THE RENAULT TRUCKS FACTORY
The director of the company had the opportunity to get acquainted with the French manufacturer’s over 120-year history and new production systems, visiting twice the Renault Trucks factory in France, in Bourg-en-Bresse. In this way he gained a much better understanding of the production process, testing and quality verification of trucks. At the same time, he appreciated the constant investments in the technology of the 2 separate production lines for rigs and tractors, without which the appearance of the new Renault Trucks range would not have been possible.
On this occasion, he remembers with pleasure the visit to the Berliet Museum where he was delighted to discover the charm of old industrial vehicles and war machines.
Impressive for him was the fact that all the old cars are functional, respectively the engine starts them, they being permanently maintained by a team of engineers.
For Ciprian Pop, Renault Trucks represents the brand that has been with him since the beginning, on which he could rely to grow his business and in which he has confidence to continue.
